📌 ভূমিকা/Introduction
ডেনিম বা অন্য যেকোনো পোশাক ওয়াশ করার পর তার রঙ, মাপ, ফিটিং, স্ক্র্যাচ, হুইস্কার – এসব কিছুই দেখতে হয় নিখুঁত হয়েছে কিনা। কারণ, ছোট একটি ভুলই হতে পারে পুরো অর্ডার বাতিলের কারণ। (After washing denim or any other garment, you need to check its color, size, fitting, scratches, whiskers – everything is perfect. Because a small mistake can be the reason for canceling the entire order.)
এই কারণে ওয়াশিং প্ল্যান্টে কোয়ালিটি কন্ট্রোল (QC) খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। (For this reason, quality control (QC) is very important in washing plants.)
এই লেখায় আমরা খুব সহজ করে জানবো কীভাবে একটি গার্মেন্টস ওয়াশিং ফ্যাক্টরিতে ধাপে ধাপে কোয়ালিটি কন্ট্রোল হয়। (In this article, we will learn in a very simple way how quality control is carried out step by step in a garment washing factory.)
✅ Step 1: ইনপুট গার্মেন্টস চেক (Pre-Wash Inspection)
কাজ কী হয় এই ধাপে/What is done in this step?
পোশাকগুলো ওয়াশ করার আগে চেক করা হয় / Clothes are checked before washing:- ঠিকমতো সেলাই করা হয়েছে কি না / Is it sewn properly?
- কাপড়ে কোনো ছেঁড়া বা দাগ আছে কি না / Are there any tears or stains on the clothes?
- সাইজ ও ট্যাগ ঠিক আছে কি না / Are the size and tag correct?
🟢 যদি এই ধাপে ভুল ধরা না পড়ে, তাহলে ওয়াশিংয়ের পর সেটি আর ঠিক করা সম্ভব হয় না। তাই এটা খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। (If a mistake is not caught at this stage, it cannot be fixed after washing. That is why it is very important.)
✅ Step 2: শেড গ্রুপিং (Shade Grouping)
কেন দরকার / Why is it necessary?
একই রঙের ডেনিম হলেও কাপড়ের শেড (গাঢ় বা হালকা) একটু একটু ভিন্ন হতে পারে / Even if it's the same color denim, the shade of the fabric (darker or lighter) may be slightly different.তাই ওয়াশের আগে সবগুলো গার্মেন্টসকে শেড অনুযায়ী আলাদা করা হয় / Therefore, all garments are separated according to shade before washing.
একই গ্রুপে থাকা পোশাকগুলো একসাথে ওয়াশ করা হয় — যেন ফাইনাল শেডে মিল থাকে / Clothes in the same group are washed together — so that the final shade is similar.
✅ Step 3: স্যাম্পল ওয়াশ ও বাইয়ার অ্যাপ্রুভাল/Sample wash and buyer approval
প্রোডাকশনের আগে ১–২টা নমুনা গার্মেন্টস নিয়ে ট্রায়াল ওয়াশ করা হয়।(Before production, a trial wash is done on 1-2 sample garments.)
এই ওয়াশ দেখে / Look at this wash.:- রঙ কেমন আসছে / How is the color coming out?
- স্ক্র্যাচ ঠিকঠাক হচ্ছে কি না / Is the scratch getting better?
- হুইস্কার বা পটাসিয়ামের রিঅ্যাকশন ঠিক হচ্ছে কি না / Is the whisker or potassium reaction going well?
তারপর বায়ার বা তাদের প্রতিনিধি সেই স্যাম্পল দেখে অনুমোদন দেয়। (Then the buyer or their representative looks at the sample and approves it.)
✅ এই ধাপে সঠিকভাবে অনুমোদন পেলে, পুরো ব্যাচ সেই গাইড অনুসারে প্রোডাকশনে যায়। (If approved correctly at this stage, the entire batch goes into production according to that guide.)
✅ Step 4: প্রসেস চলাকালে কোয়ালিটি চেক (Inline QC)
প্রতিটি ওয়াশ ধাপে একজন QC থাকা উচিত / There should be a QC at each wash step:
- Enzyme wash QC /এনজাইম ওয়াশ QC
- Stone wash QC / স্টোন ওয়াশ QC
- Bleach wash QC / ব্লিচ ওয়াশ QC
তারা চেক করে / ব্লিচ ওয়াশ QC :
- টাইমিং ঠিক আছে কি না / Is the timing correct?
- কেমিক্যাল মাত্রা ঠিক আছে কি না / Are the chemical levels correct?
- মেশিন ঠিকভাবে চলছে কি না / Is the machine running properly?
👉 এই ধাপে ভুল হলে শেড বা স্টাইল নষ্ট হয়ে যায়। (If you make a mistake at this step, the shade or style will be ruined.)
✅ Step 5: ড্রাই প্রসেস QC (যেমন হুইস্কার, স্ক্র্যাপিং, ব্রাশিং)/Dry process QC (e.g. whisker, scraping, brushing)
Dry Process মানে কী / What does Dry Process mean?
যেসব কাজ হাত দিয়ে বা মেশিনে শুকনো অবস্থায় করা হয়, যেমন / Work that is done dry by hand or machine, such as
- হুইস্কার / Whisker
- হ্যান্ড স্ক্র্যাপ / Hand Scrap
- গ্রাইন্ডিং / Grinding
- ব্রাশিং / Brushing
QC চেক করে / QC checks:
- হুইস্কার দুই পাশে সমান হয়েছে কি না / Are the whiskers even on both sides?
- স্ক্র্যাপ বেশি গাঢ় হয়েছে কি না / Is the scrape too dark?
- ডিজাইন ঠিকমতো হয়েছে কি না / Is the design correct?
🔍 Dry Process ভুল হলে সেটা আর কভার করা সম্ভব না। তাই এটাই সবচেয়ে কেয়ারে করতে হয়। (If the dry process is wrong, it cannot be covered up. So this is what needs to be done with the utmost care.)
✅ Step 6: ওয়াশের পর চেক (Post-Wash QC)
ওয়াশ শেষে গার্মেন্টস ভালোভাবে শুকিয়ে নিয়ে আবার চেক করা হয় / After washing, the garments are thoroughly dried and checked again:
- শেড ঠিক আছে কি না / Is the shade okay?
- সেলাই উঠে গেছে কি না / Are the stitches removed?
- পকেট, বোতাম ঠিক আছে কি না / Are the pockets and buttons okay?
- দাগ বা ফোল্ড পড়েছে কি না / Are there any stains or folds?
👉 আবার মাপ (Measurement) ও সাইজও মেপে দেখা হয় বাইয়ারের টেবিল অনুযায়ী / Again, measurements and sizes are measured according to the buyer's table.
✅ Step 7: ফাইনাল ইনস্পেকশন (Final Audit)
সব QC শেষ হলে বাইয়ার নিজে বা বাইয়ারের প্রতিনিধি (Third Party QC) পুরো ব্যাচ থেকে র্যান্ডম স্যাম্পল নিয়ে চেক করে / Once all QC is completed, the buyer himself or the buyer's representative (Third Party QC) checks a random sample from the entire batch.
AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) অনুযায়ী নির্ধারিত সংখ্যক গার্মেন্টস চেক হয় / A specified number of garments are checked according to the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level).
যদি খুব বেশি ভুল পাওয়া যায়, তাহলে পুরো ব্যাচ রিজেক্ট হতে পারে! (If too many errors are found, the entire batch may be rejected!)

- নিয়মিত প্রশিক্ষণ / Regular training
- বাইয়ার রিকোয়ায়ারমেন্ট বোঝা / Understanding buyer requirements
